Vandevi: The Forest Goddess

Vandevi is an independent short (produced in 2018), a fantasy story about a young girl who must transform to save the forest – her family and her home. I was commissioned by director-producer Janmejay Singh to translate the essence of the story into a poster to be featured in marketing and promotion of the film. The final artwork was digitally rendered, and the handwritten font of the text was a collaboration between tribal artist and painter Janaki Das and myself.
